ABU DHABI// The man accused of raping and killing an 11-year-old boy was wearing an abaya and face veil when he brought the youngster to the rooftop where his body was found, police have said.
General Maktoum Ali Al Sharifi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Police, said the boy was sexually assaulted then killed by the Pakistani suspect, who was disguised as a women.
General Al Sharifi, said the boy’s father had warned his son against going anywhere with older men or talking to them.
The victim lived in Abu Dhabi with his Russian mother and Pakistani father.
He went missing on Tuesday after performing afternoon prayers and Quran recital at a mosque. His body was found on the roof of his building the next day.
The suspect has been referred to the public prosecution.
