Past recipients of the Abu Dhabi Awards recently gathered at an iftar to celebrate Ramadan and the awards’ 10th anniversary.
“The evening provided us with the chance to get together and share experiences and ideas related to the work of the recipients,” said a spokesman from the awards organising committee. “We’re honoured to have hosted them.”
Nominations for the current awards campaign will run until Saturday.
As of the end of June, more than 25,000 individual nominations had been received.
